Waphyto's Nihonbashi Takashimaya store was born under the innovative approach of plant biomethodology.
"PHYTO" means plant, and "WA" means "Japan" from "Wa", "From Higashi-Mikawa", and "Honzogaku".
We have created a space where you can feel the heartbeat of people and nature, which is appropriate for the name Waphyto, which expresses the wish that people and nature are in beautiful harmony. In the place that is paired with the round shelf board that imaged drops falling from the leaves, details associated with human activities are dropped, and the thoughts put into Waphyto are expressed by harmonizing using traditional Japanese methods and silver ratio. express.
We received a request for a design plan that matches the brand image while inheriting the tone and manner of the flagship store in Nakameguro.
While constructing the space with materials that have an urban yet natural texture, we used materials that are highly recyclable.
In addition, the scenery of Mikawa and the visuals of the package are designed to be more beautiful and transparent, and the gentle atmosphere of the brand is expressed with colors and lighting effects.
By adjusting the spatial scale, we have created a store where the product is in focus by adjusting the spatial scale to match the height of the opening where customers enter and exit, rather than the height of the ceiling.
