overview
The Wakura Onsen Festival Hall was created by renovating the Wakura Onsen Tourist Hall as a new tourist hub to introduce four festivals that Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture is proud of: the Seihaku Festival, the Notojima Mukouda Fire Festival, the Ishizaki Hoto Festival, and the Okumakabuto Festival. This was prompted by the registration of the Seihaku Festival's float procession as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in December 2016.
This facility showcases the charm of Nanao, centered around its festival culture, and offers attractions that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults and foreigners alike, including actual displays of giant festival lanterns and simulated festival experiences.
