overview

[Outline of the project]

Toranomon HOP is a bar located in Toranomon Hills where you can enjoy a wide variety of German beers.
In order to embody the "Gathering Hub" concept of the Toranomon Hills retail store, we aimed to create a store that would foster borderless communication.
More than half of the store's walls face the architectural curtain wall, and the location overlooks the outdoor garden, Oval Plaza, creating a space that makes the store's presence known out into the plaza while at the same time providing a comfortable feeling of being surrounded by wood.
The bar counter features a heavy mortar finish using traditional motifs to express the dignity of German beer, and the counter top and furniture that you come into contact with are all made of thick solid wood with a bandsaw finish, giving them a friendly form.
Additionally, the jutting standing tables create the atmosphere of a lively street-side store, with people and items spilling out onto the street.
We assisted with design, layout.
