【Project Summary】
Toward completion in the spring of 2019, the Fukuoka Airport domestic passenger terminal commercial facility "greenblue" is underway.
As the entire airport is being redeveloped under the park concept, we are in charge of environmental planning for the commercial zone. We aim to be a place where not only tourists but also people in the city can gather, like an integrated park.
This time, I was in charge of the design and construction of the food hall, which will be the centerpiece of the initial opening.

[Assignment/Theme]
■ concept design concept "Captain's base" "Captain's private base flying around the world" With this concept, we got a lot of inspiration from maintenance yards and airplanes, and developed it into the concept design of each zone and details. By giving it a story, we deepened the appeal of the space.
■The best trip starts with the best start "If the waiting time is fun, the trip will be even more wonderful." Based on this idea, each zone has a unique seating space, and the concept design adds a sense of playfulness, so that each guest can spend their waiting time according to their purpose.

【solution】
The north zone near the boarding gate has a high counter zone where you can easily have a drink and board immediately. In the south zone, parts of airplanes are displays to create a museum-like space. Planned so that you can spend time while touching the equipment of the aircraft that you can not usually see. In addition, the central hall seats are equipped with original lighting inspired by the truss structure of the maintenance shop. Random movement is given to create a fun and lively atmosphere. The space in the back is an image of the captain's study. I draw a memo on the blackboard on the ceiling that spells out my thoughts on becoming a pilot.
