Technos College Tokyo Air Travel Hotel College Bridal Department Classroom Renewal

This is a renovation project for two classrooms, the "Bridal Room" and the "Presentation Room", used by the Bridal Department at Technos College, Tokyo Air Travel & Hotel College.
Based on the theme of "mariage (harmony)," the "Bridal Room" aims to be a warm and glamorous space where users can naturally imagine their future lifestyle through wedding planning.
We are also creating a place of practical learning for students, where they can develop the imagination and ability to make proposals to materialize the ideas of users.
Additionally, the Presentation Room has been designed as a space that will serve as a hub for encounters and ideas, where students from all departments can gather to exchange opinions and engage in creative activities.
Natural materials are used and, with adjustable lighting and acoustics, a harmonious learning environment is created to foster the ability to produce life events.

The client requested a space where users could naturally imagine their future lifestyles while preparing for their wedding. They also wanted a learning environment that would nurture students' imaginations and give them the ability to materialize their dreams.
On the other hand, there were also physical challenges, such as a lack of storage space.
Furthermore, the presentation room needed to be a multi-purpose, open space that would expand opportunities for exchange across departments and external collaboration.

The "bridal room" has a well-balanced mix of "visible storage" and "put away storage," which keeps the space neat during training and when serving customers, and encourages relaxed conversation. The interior, based on natural materials, creates a warm and comfortable space where visitors can envision their future lifestyles. For students, it is a place where they can hone their presentation and customer service skills in an on-site environment, while also nurturing their imagination and ability to make proposals to give shape to customers' ideas.
In the "Presentation Room," we have created a flexible layout that encourages natural conversation and a variety of seating options that can be selected according to purpose to promote interaction between students. We have equipped the room with facilities for presentations and workshops, and aim to create a space that fosters spontaneous learning and new realizations through collaboration that transcends departmental boundaries and practical exchange with external parties.
