Takemoto Oil is a global company with a 300-year history that operates a food business centered on Maruhon Sesame Oil, and a chemical business based on interface chemistry.

We were in charge of renovating the head office entrance.
Our goal was to create a space where visitors (domestic and international customers, local residents, and job-hunting students) could get a feel for the company's culture and history, while also improving employee engagement and enabling the company's story to be told.

As a company with 300 years of history, we wanted a space that would convey that weight and tradition. As a company that values authenticity, we were asked to value the inherent value of the materials and create a space with dignity and dignity.

With the goal of allowing visitors to feel the history of the company, which was founded 300 years ago, through the space, the overall space is constructed by combining the texture of Oya stone, which gives a sense of the weight of time, with warm woodgrain louvers. The fusion of tradition and modern concept design was concept design to convey to visitors Takemoto Oil's long history and the ever-innovating evolution of its technology. The round pillar in the center of the structure is finished in a bronze color that evokes the image of sesame oil, and is positioned as the symbol of the lobby.
This enabled us to create a high-quality, relaxed space befitting a well-established company.
Additionally, the entire wall is mirrored, making the entire space appear larger.
