This is a renovation project for Shiodome Edge (formerly the Shiodome Annex Building).
Twenty years have passed since the building was constructed, and there is an increasing need to refresh concept design and facilities of the entrance and common areas. In order to increase the building's competitiveness within the area, this renovation was aimed at attracting new tenants, improving the satisfaction of existing tenants, and ultimately increasing the asset value of the building.
In addition, based on the concept of a "SELECTABLE OFFICE," concept design allows each floor to have its own unique character, allowing the common areas to be selected to match the company's brand.
Issues that were identified included the fact that the concept design was 20 years old and the time had come for a redesign, the aging of the common areas, and a comparison of quality with neighboring offices. As for the sign, it was also important to improve visibility and attractiveness for the entire block.
interiors was completely renovated, with a wood-based theme to create a warm impression. In addition, by changing the wood grain, carpet color, and sign panel concept design for each floor, we were able to offer added value by allowing customers to choose common areas to match their corporate brand. In addition, in addition to updating the common facilities, we also installed powder counters in the women's restrooms to increase user satisfaction.
On the other hand, with regards to signs, we unified and updated concept design not only within the office but also in the access corridors from Caretta Shiodome and the station, creating a sign plan that will attract workers from both inside and outside the Shiodome area.
