【project overview】

Seibu Chichibu Ekimae Onsen Matsuri no Yu" opened in April 2017 as a new hot spring complex on Seibu Chichibu Nakamise Dori, along with the renewal of Seibu Chichibu Station, the gateway to Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, where over 300 festivals are held annually.
Based on the concept design concept of a "festival" symbolizing the Chichibu area, the facility includes a hot spring bath, a food court, and a souvenir store, and is a new hub for tourism in the Chichibu area.
We provided consulting services for development planning, basic concept design, environment design supervision, decoration and graphics concept design, signage, and facility logo concept design.

[Customer issues]

To allow visitors to further enjoy the diverse charms of the Chichibu area, which is home to tourist spots for every season, such as moss phlox in the spring and night festivals in the winter, we supported the commercial planning through planning a food court where guests can enjoy menus and ingredients unique to Chichibu, as well as a sales plan for sweets and goods in collaboration with famous local stores, in order to create a synergistic appeal with the main hot spring facility. We also assisted in realizing the concept concept design by supervising the architectural and interiors design of Matsuri-no-Yu.

【solution】

By assisting in the basic concept design and design supervision throughout the entire project, we were able to develop extremely smooth relationships and maintain close communication with not only the business owner but also the design company and construction company, which helped to realize the expression of the facility's concept of "festival" and contribute to a synergistic increase in brand value.
