Saitama Prefectural River Museum
It opened in 1997 as Japan's first comprehensive river museum. It is currently managed and operated by NOMURA
displays exhibits the relationship between the rivers of Saitama, mainly the Arakawa River, and people's lives, and is a place for local and environmental studies that conveys the footsteps of our ancestors who lived alongside the rivers. Outside, there are water-friendly facilities such as a 1/1000 scale model of the Arakawa River, the largest waterwheel in the country, and water athletics.
