Newman Yokohama, which opened in June 2020 at the west exit of JR Yokohama Station, is the second Newman store after Tokyo and Shinjuku, and is located on the 1st through 10th floors of the JR Yokohama Tower.
interiors concept design was handled by Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects, and signage concept design was handled by 10inc. We were in charge of interiors basic, working drawings and interior administration work, sign design construction work, environment interiors construction work, Tenant B work, furniture and fixture manufacturing and A and B work supervision and management. This new commercial facility in Yokohama is creating a lively atmosphere.
Each floor has its own concept and consists of 115 stores that offer lifestyle proposals across all genres, including fashion, beauty, food, wellness, and culture.
environmental design, which catches the eye when walking through the museum, was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Tsuyoshi Tane. Each floor uses 300,000 different custom-made tiles, creating a space that makes you feel as if you are walking through the city even though it is indoors.
