Aomori Prefectural Misawa Aviation Science Museum

Aomori Prefecture has a valuable history in the history of aviation in Japan. The Aviation Science Museum was established in 2003 through the collaborative efforts of Aomori Prefecture and Misawa City.
In 2021, displays were completely revamped, a new space zone was added, and a roller zip line was introduced. NOMURA Co.,Ltd. was in charge of the entire renovation project.
The organizing bodies include local companies and NPOs, and NOMURA Co.,Ltd., as the designated manager, is responsible for the maintenance of displays, the information network, the operation of the video hall, and the planning of special exhibitions and other events.
In addition to the aviation zone, which displays aircraft with ties to Aomori Prefecture, the science zone, which centers around a science experiment workshop led by instructors, and the space zone, which was newly added in the renovation, the aquarium also features the only HondaJet technology demonstrator aircraft on displays in Japan.
