overview
This project was initiated to mark the 30th anniversary of Yokohama Landmark Tower.
It opened on May 29, 2025 as a new food hub that brings together three attractive bars, including one supervised by a chef with ties to Yokohama and Kanagawa, and one in collaboration with a local company, and brings the appeal of the prefecture's food and producers to visitors.
Our company was responsible for everything from planning to concept design and construction, including using wood from Kanagawa Prefecture for part of the store's interiors and decorating the space with mural art by Kanagawa-based artist Ryohei Yamashita.
Issues/requests
As a facility that represents Yokohama, we spent several years discussing with our clients how we could ensure that the facility continues to lead the city into the future.
As a result, the first implementation measure chosen was to create a place that would promote the appeal of the region and its food, under the theme of the "future" of food.
solution
Cherishing the connection to Yokohama and Kanagawa, we made sure to convey the charm of the area to visitors through interiors, such as by using wood from Kanagawa and commissioning mural art from Kanagawa-based artist Yamashita Ryohei.
Customer's voice
We opened this restaurant in the hope that it will become a hub for food that embodies local Kanagawa and Yokohama cuisine, and that it will become a place that will lead the future efforts of the facility as a whole from the heart of Landmark Plaza.
