"Koniwa House"
It is a place where babies can spend relaxing time together with family and friends. The interior feels like a picture book, with a diaper changing space, a breastfeeding space, and a kitchen and living room where you can feed your baby milk and baby food, making it feel like you are visiting a friend's house.

"Komoriranomori"
This is a play area where babies, kids, and families can relax and enjoy themselves in their own way. It is divided into an area where babies and families can relax and enjoy themselves, and an area with exciting play equipment for children who are starting to become active. In the center of the spacious space, there is also a base camp corner where parents with children of different ages can have a panoramic view of the whole area.


[Social issues/customer issues/requests]
The client requested that they create a space for parents and children that goes a step further than the achievements of LaLaport Hiratsuka, to create a facility where people with children from Numazu City and Shizuoka Prefecture can not only shop but also have a relaxing day out.


[Solution]
We planned and concept design the space with the intention of creating a space where childcare can be shared regardless of gender or age, not just for mothers to look after their children. We also took care to create an extraordinary concept design that would make it fun for both adults and children to come here, and to ensure the safety and location of siblings while families with children of different ages look after the baby.
