Anticipating that guests would be visiting Izumo Taisha Shrine, and given the psychological desire to purify themselves before and after their visit, we adopted the concept of "Sea-Colored Purification," incorporating the ever-changing colors of the Sea of Japan into the space to allow guests to cleanse their minds and bodies during their stay.
The west-facing guest rooms feature a living area painted in indigo blue, creating concept design allows guests to appreciate the beauty of the sunset's orange hues even more.
The east-facing guest rooms are inspired by the mystical dawn colors of the sunrise over the Sea of Japan. Local artisans have dyed Sekishu washi paper in the dawn color using bengara (red iron oxide pigment) and applied it to the walls, creating a pure and serene space with materials and colors characteristic of Hinomisaki.

The entrance is very symbolic and has become a very popular photo spot for customers.
