INEC has relocated its headquarters to Frontier Meieki, an environmentally friendly, cutting-edge office building in Meieki, Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City. The concept is "rays of hope," with the symbolic color "INEC blue" and a space woven with light, encouraging employees to take a new step and feel a sense of hope for the future. The cutting-edge office space combines environmental friendliness with concept design, and with concept design elements of "light," "blue," and "environmentally friendly materials," the company has created a place that embodies its purpose and vision.
Under the direction of IZA representative Taki Tanaka, who is in charge of branding for I-NEC, and in collaboration with LUCENT Inc representative Takahiro Matsuo (artwork) and NOiR Inc representative Setsuya Kurotaki (sound concept design), we created a symbolic piece of "light" art at the reception. The entire office is gently enveloped in I-NEC blue, creating a sense of unity and connection for all who gather here. In addition, the existing base for the OA floor is washed and used as is, eliminating the need for finishing materials to reduce the environmental impact, and the walls are made of cement tiles made from recycled waste such as coal ash from thermal power plants and used coffee beans.
We were in charge of the design and construction.
In order to create a space where employees and guests could experience INEC's purpose, the company received the following requests:
・Creating a highly motivated working environment
・An office space that gives the feeling of a new beginning and a bright future
・An iconic and open reception space
・Space concept design based on the brand color, I-Neck Blue
- 120 seats in the office and 4 reception rooms must be provided.
To allow employees and guests to experience AINEC's mission of "contributing to the realization of carbon neutrality," the existing base of the OA floor was cleaned and left exposed without using any new finishing materials, reducing the environmental impact. In addition, the walls are made of cement tiles made from recycled waste materials such as coal ash from thermal power plants and used coffee beans from cafes. All of these strongly resonate with AINEC's mission of "leading Japan to a carbon-free society using new methods and technologies without being bound by conventional wisdom."
