overview

HOKURIKU+ is an information hub for Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui.
It is directly connected to the west exit of JR Osaka Station and features a sales space, a standing bar space where you can sample local sake and snacks from each prefecture, a tourist information space, and an event space to promote seasonal produce.
In addition to handling everything from design, layout and planning to construction phase, we were also in charge of the logo and its manual, creating a special store introduction video, and proposing VMD (visual merchandising) for the first year after the store opened.

Issues/requests

The prefectures of Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui have requested that they establish the following bases for the purposes of disseminating information about the three Hokuriku prefectures and attracting tourists, with an eye toward the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Kanazawa and Tsuruga, the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and the subsequent extension to Osaka.

Concept: A hub for disseminating information from Japan and overseas that allows you to experience the charms of Hokuriku
①A place to learn about and enjoy the food culture of the Hokuriku region
2) A base for activities to promote the attractions of Hokuriku's nature, culture, food, etc.
3) A communication hub to increase the number of Hokuriku fans and foster connections
④A place where you can experience the unique manufacturing culture

solution

Based on the theme of "Meets Hokuriku," discovering Japan in Hokuriku and experiencing the essence of Japan, we made the following proposals.

●Meet Hokuriku
The logo and facade decorations are based on the beautiful and rich culture of the Hokuriku region, helping to make a lasting impression on visitors, while interiors actively uses materials unique to the Hokuriku region, creating a highly unique sales floor.
●Connect with and expand Hokuriku
As a place to foster connections, we concept design an information counter where customers can get seasonal information while enjoying local Hokuriku sake at the bar.
