<Outline of the project>

The facility's infrastructure has deteriorated over time and is due for renewal, so a complete renovation is planned in response to declining sales due to changes in the surrounding commercial environment.
Taking advantage of the station's convenient location, the merchandising was rebuilt, and the first large-scale renovation in 26 years was carried out based on a unified Japanese modern concept design image with the renewal concept of "Hakata-like and new." We assisted with concept design, planning, construction and furniture and fixture manufacturing of the entire environment.

The renewal concept was expressed through the greenery symbolized by Mingu Square, the hanging wall concept design based on the motif of Hakata-ori, the different spatial presentation for each zone, the overlapping ceiling that gives the impression of a "modern Japanese" style, and the warm lighting throughout the building.
