<Outline of the project>

Due to the aging of the facility's infrastructure and the need for replacement, as well as to address declining sales due to changes in the surrounding commercial environment, a complete renovation is planned.
Taking advantage of its prime location inside the train station, we restructured the merchandise and carried out a large-scale renovation project—the first in 26 years—based on the renewal concept of "New and uniquely Hakata," unifying concept design image with a Japanese modern aesthetic. Our company assisted with the overall environmental concept design, planning, construction, and furniture and fixture manufacturing.

The renovation concept is expressed through the greening symbolized in the Maing Plaza, the hanging wall concept design inspired by Hakata-ori textiles, the different spatial designs in each zone, and the double ceiling and warm interior lighting that give the impression of "Japanese modern."
