This is a renovation plan for a permanent comprehensive sales gallery that will act as an information hub for "Gracia," a housing brand developed by Sotetsu Real Estate, and allow visitors to experience the brand's worldview through actual products and video.
The Sotetsu Line, which is deeply rooted in the Yokohama community and is loved by the local community, has been connected to the Tokyu Line through direct service, making it more convenient for people living in the city center to visit. As a result, we opened a salon in Shin-Yokohama, which functions as a hub connecting Yokohama, where Sotetsu Real Estate is based, with other prefectures.
The facility will feature a lounge where events can be held, a presentation room where each property can be experienced in VR, and a concept room that expresses the "high quality" of the Gracia brand.
We were in charge of interiors concept design, environmental features and display.

Issues/requests

They were searching for a way to communicate the new value of the Gracia brand while resolving issues such as the state of the condominium gallery, which is constantly being scrapped and rebuilt, and the model rooms, which have different grades for each property. They wanted to create a space that could reach a wider range of customers by conveying "quality" rather than a sense of luxury or family-likeness.

solution

The louvers and counters are made of cypress wood from Kanagawa Prefecture, the culture medium is made of recycled polyester fiber, and the tree-ring art expresses the life that the hotel will share with its customers. The hotel incorporates various concept design that evoke the brand's awareness of the natural environment and its commitment to protecting the lifestyles of those living along the line, which is the background of the Gracia brand. The hotel also pays attention to the use of light, creating a space that exudes the scent of a high-quality lifestyle.
