GORA KADAN FUJI GOLF

This is a renovation project for the golf course "GORA KADAN FUJI GOLF", located in the majestic and undulating land at the foot of Mt. Fuji, close to the hotel "GORA KADAN FUJI", which will open in the summer of 2025.
In a two-story clubhouse with an area of approximately 2,600 square meters, we have interiors and FFE concept design in common areas such as entrances, lobbies, lounges, restaurants/bars, suites, shops, lockers/buses, as well as interiors working drawings, basic facilities, working drawings, supervision, interiors ・I was in charge of FFE construction.
GORA KADAN Conscious of the sense of grade that interacts with the brand's luxury hotels, we have created a modern and prestigious clubhouse space based on brick, wood, and marble.

GORA KADAN FUJI GOLF was tasked with revitalizing its aging existing architecture in a way that was appropriate for the modern era, while making the most of its unique location overlooking the World Heritage site, Mount Fuji. Furthermore, it was necessary to redefine the golf club, which had traditionally been a sports-focused facility, as a place to stay and refresh mind and body, and to expand it into a comprehensive resort experience in conjunction with a hotel. Meeting multifaceted demands, such as creating a spatial configuration that utilizes the view of Mount Fuji, ensuring clear traffic flow, improving comfort, and incorporating the natural beauty of the four seasons into concept design, was a crucial challenge.

The existing building's framework was carefully reorganized and rebuilt into a new clubhouse, balancing a sense of stateliness with a local flavor through a material plan based on wood, stone, and brick. A symmetrical structure that echoes Mount Fuji and the Japanese concept of "ma" (space between spaces) were incorporated to create a tranquil, deep space where light and scenery reach the interior in multiple layers. The first floor has been redesigned and the flow of traffic around the lockers and starting lobby optimized to enhance comfort, while the second floor features a lobby, restaurant, lounge, and suites that make the most of the views. The club has been renovated into an unprecedented wellness resort-style golf club, enhancing the stay experience while harmonizing with nature, including a wood-burning fireplace and facility planning.
