[Project Summary]
A carefully selected pickle store promoting Japanese pickle culture from Ginza.
This is a select shop of pickles that sells not only our own products but also delicious pickles from all over Japan. Each season, we offer seasonal pickles using fresh vegetables as the theme, and customers can sample them.
We carefully selected the ingredients and concept design the product from scratch, including the packaging, to ensure that it would be a popular Japanese souvenir and of a quality that could be used as a gift.
Our company provides comprehensive services including branding, menu development, design administration, interiors concept design and construction, and operation and management.

[Customer issues]
Yamau Co., Ltd., a long-established pickle store that was engaged in manufacturing and wholesale, opened its first flagship store in Ginza. As a product, it was required not only to sell it, but also to be a base for disseminating “tsukemono culture” unique to Japan.
Regarding the architecture, there were various regulations due to the location of Ginza, and the challenge was to make the building suitable for the city of Ginza, with a Japanese appearance while being a four-story pencil building with a frontage of 5m.

【solution】
In order to make it suitable for the town of Ginza, we formed a façade that arranged the design of Kumiko, which is a "Japanese" technique. With good old "tradition" and "modernity" that matches the times, appealing "innovation" that attracts people, the interior combines traditional materials and finishes to express nostalgia, relief, and comfort. bottom. There is also a unique sweets shop with the theme of pickles.
