Renovation work has been carried out on the permanent displays room at the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
We were in charge of the renovation of the History of Life section of the permanent displays room, displays renovation work involving the removal of the wall around the Tyranno Robot, and the complete renovation of the Dino Lab.
Additionally, a Tyrannosaurus monument that was created for the domestic promotion of the movie "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" was converted into a permanent outdoor installation and installed.
・This renewal includes the addition of a newly exhibited large-scale skeletal specimen, including the real mummified Brachylophosaurus fossil that will be shown for the first time in Japan. As the real mummified fossil is a long-term loan from an American museum, it will be carefully handled during transport and removal. Careful case design
・Progress on the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension project and the short construction period to be completed in time for the busy summer vacation season.
There were more requests.
The conditions for transporting the real mummy fossils were thoroughly discussed with the museum, the lender, and the transport company, and a case was designed with safety in mind. In addition, by using five glass panels with low-reflection film, the case has good visibility with little reflection even in a dark displays space.
The project was completed thanks to our speedy response, achieved through collaboration between our in-house designers, production staff, and sales staff, as well as the trust that has existed between the maintenance staff and museum researchers since the museum opened.
