In addition to providing a space to introduce and experience the technologies that Ajinomoto has cultivated over the years, this facility aims to solve business partner issues and social issues by bringing together people, technologies, and wisdom to co-create new value. Until now, technology introductions to companies have been on-site, and there is a limit to the number of technologies that can be explained at one time.

Since it is difficult to convey the value, it was required to create a more efficient and effective place to appeal.

In addition, by having customers "see, touch, and feel" our technology, we can effectively convey the potential value of the technology and improve efficiency.

We were required to create an environment in which we could grasp the needs of our customers.

【solution】

In constructing the space, it is necessary to (1) have a fixed form (no fixed shape in terms of time and space), (2) two-way (dialogue is the main role, not things and technology), and (3) incomplete.

Based on the idea of growth (changing with the evolution and change of the world), we have built a variable system and realized a high degree of freedom in planning.

This allows concept design to efficiently appeal to customers according to their needs, and also encourages unexpected connections and discoveries.

The concept is “Ferment” (ferment, rejuvenate, stimulate).

We aimed to create a space (innovation space) that encourages flexible thinking.
