Caretta Shiodome Renovation 46th floor "SKY VIEW" "Entrance"

This is a renewal project that will be carried out in stages over approximately three years from 2022 to 2024.
Now in its third term, the 46th floor "SKY VIEW" and "entrance" have been renovated, transforming the building into a place that will generate new excitement and interaction.

The design called for a refreshing space at the entrance to the restaurant floor, and an expansion of the observation space overlooking Tokyo Bay, with a comfortable and attractive space concept design concept design also needed to appeal to a wide range of targets, such as families and inbound tourists in the daytime, and young people and dining groups in the evening.

Based on the concept of "Caretta Sky," the hexagonal motif, derived from the turtle shell that is the origin of the name Caretta, is used on the fixtures, wall graphics, and mosaic tiles to create a consistent and playful concept design. In addition, the fixtures of the SKYVIEW and the walls of the entrance are decorated with hexagonal mosaic tiles in a gradation, creating a mood that draws in the night view seen from Shiodome. We aimed to create a space where users can enjoy and relax by providing relaxing waiting areas, observation areas, and rest areas in various places.
