Shiseido Parlour's red building, a Ginza landmark, was designed with the concept of a lighthouse illuminating the streets of Ginza when it was constructed. With the idea of "creating a bar that will become a symbol of Ginza" on the top floor of the building, we aimed to create an "adult bar" that the many adults who gather in Ginza can enjoy.
When you step out of the elevator into the reception area, you'll be greeted by the flickering light of candles, a stark contrast to the vibrant lights that adorn the city.
The bar area is square and has a maximum ceiling height of over 8m. In order to give the large space a more symbolic concept design, a counter has been placed in the center, and above it is the "Lighthouse Light (Symbol)." As the building concept ranges from the ground floor (earth) to the top 11th floor (sky), we have placed symbolic artwork that evokes the image of the "Sun (the sun at night)," "spark," "shine" and "soul" floating in the "sky."
The symbol's red glow is reflected in the metal wall art and antique mirrors, lending it a sophisticated feel, while the shadows that extend from the artwork onto the walls give the space an organic feel.
To make the large space comfortable, we have created a difference in floor height around the counter. The high counter side is a casual area designed for standing use.
The low counter side is carpeted in the theme color purple and has comfortable chairs, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing bar atmosphere.
There is also private seating behind the bottle shelves, perfect for a variety of occasions. The lounge area at the back is a cozy space with unique art and furniture, and the flickering flames, perfect for adults to immerse themselves in the social and sexy concepts of the venue.
The S in "Bar S" represents the various "S"s of Ginza, creating a space for adults.
