overview

Aisin AW's history of taking on the challenge of developing Japan's first purely domestic AT and car navigation systems, as well as the passion and technology of our predecessors who climbed to the top of the world, will be handed down to young employees and stakeholders. It is a facility to

In the main space, six stories were presented using manga-style illustrations and symbolic scenes to convey the arduous journey from imitating Western practices to building unique technology through trial and error, in a way that felt closer to the perspective of the employees at the time. displays was designed to encourage emotional engagement with the ease of reading manga, allowing visitors to truly feel the passion of those who came before. Furthermore, the building, which was constructed 40 years ago and still retains the spirit of the employees at the time, was deliberately utilized as part of displays 's stage setting. AT pallets and grating materials actually used in the factory were used as fixtures and stages, creating opportunities for "dialogue" between employees and visitors.
The former conference room area was transformed into a large, elongated space by connecting smaller rooms, and the entire space is designed to resemble a timeline, showcasing the evolution of product technology. The stage construction utilizes AT pallets, which AW has used to deliver products to the world, creating something that employees can feel both familiar with and proud of. This space is a giant AW timeline that allows you to instantly and intuitively feel the amazing technological prowess of AW, which continues to create world-firsts and world-leading products.
