Hideki Sato, Executive Officers of our company, and Yoshihisa Goto of the Future Creation Institute took part in a talk session on "The Future of Sustainable Events"
The Sustainable Events Council, of NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is a member, will hold a webinar on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, to discuss the future of sustainable events, an important issue that the entire industry must address. Speaking from our company will be Hideki Sato, Executive Officers Deputy General Manager of the Sales Promotion Division, and Yoshihisa Goto, Room Chief of the Sustainable concept design Lab, Vision concept design Department, Future Creation Research Institute.
Achieving sustainability in the event industry is a theme that must be continually addressed in order for the industry to grow. However, we at the Sustainable Events Council believe that achieving this goal requires co-creation across the entire industry, rather than just one company working alone.
With momentum for sustainability growing, including the launch of the council in 2023 and the launch of the industry standard carbon calculator working group in 2024, five companies belonging to the Sustainable Events Council will gather this time to look back on their progress so far and share their thoughts and vision for the next generation.
