Next-generation multi-purpose arena "TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO" | NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is responsible for the planning, design, layout construction of outdoor spaces such as parks and monuments.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. was responsible for the planning, design, engineering, and construction of three outdoor spaces and the main staircase within "TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO," a next-generation multi-purpose arena that opened on October 3, 2025 (Friday) in the Aomi area of Odaiba. This arena will not only be used as the home arena for the B.LEAGUE team "Alvark Tokyo," but will also accommodate a wide range of events including various sports viewing, entertainment, and MICE design, layout, and Exhibitions).

Key features include a large-scale LED screen that will further enhance the excitement and thrill of the live entertainment, and high-quality hospitality facilities and services that will provide an unprecedented viewing experience. The multi-purpose outdoor space, including the park adjacent to the main arena, is a lively venue that can be enjoyed by anyone, including local residents, even on days when there are no events.

We participated in the project from the planning stage, working with Toyota Alvark Tokyo and corporate sponsors to consider the ideal form of outdoor spaces, and were responsible for TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO's "adidas SPORTS PARK," the TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO symbol monument, "Nikken Rental JOINT PARK," the outdoor terrace space "CIRCULAR FARM SOUTH GARDEN," and the "MEMORIAL BRICKS" staircase in front of adidas SPORTS PARK. Utilizing our knowledge of interior spaces gained through our involvement in arenas and stadiums, we worked to create outdoor spaces that are open to the community and connect people, as well as new ways to enjoy the arena.

As a company Head Office in the Odaiba area, we will continue to collaborate with companies related to "TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO," local governments, and local businesses to contribute to the revitalization of the waterfront sub-center area and the further development of the sports industry.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is also working on creating people-centered spaces in sports and entertainment. As a "B.LEAGUE Supporting Company," we are working in collaboration with the B.LEAGUE to further develop the field of spatial concept design, which plays an important role in arena sports, to improve the value of the experience using digital technologies such as emogrf, and to promote inclusive sports viewing that everyone can enjoy with peace of mind, such as sensory bags.

Main Areas

adidas SPORTS PARK
This is a place where everyone can enjoy basketball, from those touching the sport for the first time to those challenging themselves at a high level. The base concept design, reminiscent of a street park with its wire mesh (cage), features bold icons by world-renowned painter/artist MHAK, representing the wind that blows through the adidas Sports Park, a place that connects the arena, the sea, and the world. Part of the court is made from recycled rubber material from discarded shoes, transforming it into a one-of-a-kind court imbued with the feelings of players and fans. The "TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO Symbol Monument" at the park entrance has a mechanism that lights up the goal ring in red when Alvark Tokyo wins a home game.

Rental Nikken JOINT PARK
In addition to events in the main arena, the space can be used for a variety of purposes, such as food trucks and various events, and we aim to create an event park where people can interact with each other and enjoy all kinds of fun.

The "MEMORIAL BRICKS" installed on the main staircase leading to the sports park are engraved with names and passionate messages of support for Alvark Tokyo to commemorate the opening of the arena.

CIRCULAR FARM SOUTH GARDEN
This outdoor terrace space is located next to the main gate on the third floor of the arena. It is a comfortable space where everyone can spend time as they wish, enjoying conversation, food and drink while feeling the warmth of nature before or after an event.
