Japan's largest hybrid sports and music entertainment arena

The IG Arena opened on Sunday, July 13, 2025 in Meijo Park, overlooking Nagoya Castle in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It has a maximum capacity of 17,000 people, making it one of the largest arenas in Japan, and is the first in Japan to adopt a hybrid oval arena surface that combines an oval shape suitable for watching sports with a horseshoe shape suitable for concerts, with a 30m ceiling height and improved visibility and acoustics. It also introduces the overseas style of viewing and appreciation, with an abundance of restaurants and hospitality areas. It has world-class functions in both hard and soft aspects.

It has been decided that the stadium will host the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament and will be the home arena for the B1 League club, Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. The exterior and some of the interior concept design will be handled by Kengo Kuma and Associates.

NOMURA is responsible for design, layout of some of the suite rooms, the interiors construction, design, layout, design and construction the interiors lounge, and construction of the interior wall signs and other decorations of the "IG Arena," contributing to a high-quality entertainment experience. In addition, the company has signed an official supplier contract with the "IG Arena."

With concept design themes of "Owari" and "Mikawa," each area has its own unique atmosphere and personality, making it a picturesque space no matter where you look. In a space overlooking the arena, you can enjoy a special meal while feeling the excitement of the venue.

Suite Room (MUFG Suite)
The building's exterior concept design mimics the shapes of trees to blend in with the park, and the tree shapes have been incorporated into the artwork, customizing the sophisticated space with a glamorous atmosphere using lustrous materials and colors.
