Nomura Co., Ltd., a comprehensive spatial production company, has been involved in the planning and concept design of numerous pavilions and displays spaces, from the 1970 Osaka Expo to the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo.

The "EXPO GALLERY" at our Osaka office houses and displays approximately 20,000 valuable materials related to international expositions that have been accumulated throughout this history. The gallery covers everything from the 1851 Great Exhibition in London, the world's first international exposition, to the Dubai Expo in 2021. It is also a space where you can learn about the spirit and stories of the people involved in the 1970 Osaka Expo project, and see the script for the "Festival Square" where the event was held and the confetti that was thrown at the opening ceremony.

Until now, the facility has been open only to business partners and researchers, but in the year of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, we will open it to the general public in order to share the significance of the Expo and what goes on behind the scenes with as many people as possible. Please read the information provided and apply. We look forward to receiving your application.

About EXPO GALLERY
Passing on the memory of the World Expo to the future
Having been involved in many expositions, including the 1970 Osaka Expo, we believe that connecting the legacy to the future is an important social contribution activity, and so we opened the "EXPO GALLERY" in 2022.

EXPO LIBRARY
In 2001, the museum received a donation of 10,000 items related to the Expo from the researcher Tsuyoshi Terashita, and since then, the museum has collected a total of approximately 20,000 items, including those donated from various sources. The museum is notable for its wide range of items, including not only official records, but also books, Expo posters by famous creators such as Yusaku Kamekura, and items exclusive to the venue.

EXHIBITION ROOM
With the theme of "Expositions and NOMURA", the program introduces our company's achievements in the five world expositions held in Japan. In particular, it introduces expositions from a unique perspective, including anecdotes from various projects that Nomura was in charge of, such as the Tower of the Sun and the Japan Pavilion exhibits at the 1970 Osaka displays, and the process leading up to the creation of an exposition.

COMMUNICATION ROOM
This area will feature illustrations of "the future World Expo" as envisioned by our creators, as well as NOMURA 's initiatives leading to the future.
