Tokyo is accelerating its GX (Green Transformation) initiative, which aims to transform society into one centered on energy. Aiming to encourage every Tokyo resident to understand GX and change their behavior, the city has launched "TOKYO GX ACTION," a year-round initiative to widely disseminate information on the latest GX technologies. Our exhibit details

■ Sound equipment "noon by material record"
Our R&D project "material record" is based on the theme of "material = earth's resources" and is conducting various sustainable research and development projects based on materials in the construction and interiors industry, which consumes large amounts of resources. The first product, "noon by material record" (hereafter, "noon"), is an experiential art piece that uses sustainable materials such as construction waste, plastic pieces washed up on the shore, denim scraps, and fuel tanks that have outlived their usefulness in rocket development to create speakers and create new values for materials through acoustic experiences. Currently, we are working with various partners to focus on sustainable materials and engage in activities that link "sound" and "materials".

■ SCRAPTURE(SCRAP MATERIAL UPCYCLE PROJECT)
This product was created as a practical and sustainable message art that appeals to emotions and memories by bringing interiors waste that is normally not seen into the public eye. Unlike the traditional scrap-and-build message, this product will be upcycled as new interiors materials for the next generation and circulated as a medium to expand the circle of co-creation. The product will be displays in traveling locations such as offices, international conferences, and art events, with the aim of inspiring many people to think about a better future. It has received the Gold Award at the Sky Design Awards 2023 (Multimedia & Visual Included Exhibition category), the Gold Award and Tezuka Yui Award at the 57th Japan Sign concept design Awards, and more.
