Takarazuka Grand Theater's "Shop & Restaurant Zone" reopens after renovation | NOMURA is responsible for interiors design, layout construction of the lobby and restaurants

NOMURA was in charge of interiors design, layout and construction for the building entrance, lobby (aisle/galleria), and restaurants (Cafeteria Fleur and Café & Snacks Bright) of the Takarazuka Grand Theater's "Shop & Restaurant Zone "*, which completely reopened on March 12 (Wednesday).
The zone from the building entrance to the lobby (hallway) including the restaurant.
The Takarazuka Grand Theater was built in 1924 as a theater exclusively for the Takarazuka Revue. It was rebuilt in 1993 to become the current Takarazuka Grand Theater. It has the mechanisms and equipment unique to a dedicated theater, such as the Ginbashi (a runway-like passageway at the front of the stage between the orchestra pit and the audience seats) and a large staircase, and seats 2,550. The adjacent small theater, the Takarazuka Bow Hall (526 seats), is also a stepping stone to stardom, with the desire to "create cutting-edge productions."
The renewal concept is "Dreams start here." It is imbued with the desire to carefully inherit the charm of Takarazuka Revue that has been nurtured for 111 years, and to continue to be a theater that delivers dreams to many customers in the future. NOMURA, which delivers "Delight and Passion," was also involved from the planning stage of this concept, aiming to create a space where customers can experience a sense of the extraordinary and uplifting. It has become a facility where you can spend a glamorous time not only by going to the theater, but also by dining and shopping.
Please come and enjoy the world of Takarazuka Revue, which can only be experienced here.
About the interiors concept design
This renewal unified the interiors concept design of the target area and rearranged the scattered shops and service functions, aiming to create a space where people can spend time before and after the show more enjoyably and comfortably. The space is based on the color white, which evokes the Takarazuka Revue motto of "Pure, Correct, and Beautiful." interiors design incorporates graceful curves and arched frames, and uses motifs such as violets and the symbolic colors of the five troupes: flowers, moon, snow, stars, and sky.
