Employees from our Future Creation Research Institute take part in talk session at the 5th WEHealth 2025

Reiko Ibe, Yuki Horiike, Sayaka Horikoshi, and Mari Matsumoto from the Future Creation Research Institute will be speaking at the talk session of the 5th WEHealth2025, an empowerment event for women to be held on Friday, March 7. This event will be held from Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 9 in conjunction with International Women's Day advocated by the United Nations, and our company will also be displays the Calm Down Room.

We are conducting R&D activities to realize our sustainability policy of "creating spaces that are easy for everyone to use." As part of this activity, we are working on the "Sensory Friendly Project," in partnership with researchers, people with disabilities, and experts, to create spaces where everyone can feel safe and comfortable, for people who have difficulty going out for various reasons and have given up on experiences outside. In this article, we will talk about some examples that include the real experiences and perspectives of the people in charge.

Presentation content: What we perceive as "ease of going out" and "comfortable spaces" in our daily lives varies greatly from person to person. People with disabilities, people with children, elderly people and their caregivers, each have their own anxieties and difficulties. Through creating spaces, we are challenging ourselves to create systems and inclusive initiatives that allow diverse people to feel safe and secure. In this talk session, we will share examples of our own experiences and perspectives as we face these challenges and put our own experiences and thoughts into practice in creating spaces.
