NOMURA will be exhibiting again this year at the SC Business Fair 2025, the industry's largest event bringing together people involved in shopping centers.

As society becomes more aware of sustainability, the challenges we face are becoming more diverse. With the theme of "NOMURA 's vision of sustainable concept design," in addition to environmental considerations, we will introduce more specific initiatives such as "R&D projects based on the theme of 'materials = global resources,'" "utilization of domestic timber," and "spaces that anyone can participate in."
We are taking on life-sized challenges together with business operators in each of our fields of activity. By introducing our activities and engaging in dialogue, we aim to build new relationships as a future-oriented partner for stakeholders facing challenges.

In addition, a free seminar will be held at the event venue on Thursday, January 23rd. The creators involved in the planning and concept design of this booth will discuss with visitors what sustainable, lively spaces should be in the future, giving concrete examples.

About concept design approach of this booth

Social issues are piling up. This time, with a focus on sustainable materials, forests, and people, and with the theme of creating a bustling, sustainable place for people, we will look back at NOMURA 's spatial business and introduce our efforts to tackle social issues one by one, starting with what we can do, as we venture into new fields.

Specific initiatives include "noon by material record," a speaker made using sustainable materials as part of an R&D project with the theme of "materials = earth's resources," "utilizing domestic timber," an endeavor to develop concept design that utilize the value of timber in collaboration with wood-producing areas with the aim of "achieving both the creation of rich spaces and the creation of forests of the future," and symbolic displays of "spaces in which everyone can participate," such as "inclusive concept design," "sensor-friendly," and "spaces for children."

The booth is designed so that you can enjoy conversation with the attendant staff while wandering around the booth. We will convey that "We are driving a wedge into the mountain of social issues. As a company, and as individual employees, we are taking a diverse approach." Please experience our company's circulation of things and events and the creation of systems that utilize creativity.
