Chateraise Holdings has rebranded the closed Green Pier Setouchi as a resort hotel in collaboration with its confectionery business, Chateraise Gateau Kingdom Setouchi, and will hold its grand opening on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The entrance, lobby, guest rooms, hot spring facilities, restaurant, cafe, signage and more have been renovated, resulting in a one-of-a-kind resort that evokes the beauty of Setouchi.

NOMURA has been involved from the basic concept stage, and is responsible for everything from spatial concept planning design, layout, sign and graphic concept design, interiors construction, FF&E, etc. We use our creativity to help bring new value to facilities.

A confectionery factory with factory tours and an activity area are scheduled to open in 2025.


Main Areas

Based on concept design concept of "A one-of-a-kind resort where you can experience the beauty of Setouchi in symbiosis with nature," we created a space where you can feel the connection and charm of the nature of Setouchi - its mild climate and beautiful scenery. We aimed to create concept design that would leave a strong impression on guests by expressing the attractive essence of Setouchi through color and art.

Beautiful Japanese details arranged in a modern style. A sophisticated space where you can relax and unwind in the tranquil air of Setouchi.

The charm of "Setouchi" is expressed in a modern style, creating a simple yet warm space that will be memorable for guests.

You can spend a quality time blending in with the beautiful scenery, calm as the Setouchi Rice Coast.

Right) Cafe: nami note | Naminooto
"SETOUCHI WALL" expresses the beautiful waves of the Setouchi Sea, providing relaxation, healing and comfort in a casual space.
 

Restaurant: Ocean Bliss
The olive green color "SETOUCHI GREEN" is used throughout the space, casually and elegantly expressing the nature of Setouchi. The seating area is an open space from which you can enjoy a serene and beautiful view of the Setouchi Sea.
 

Hot bath facilities and large baths
This modern-style bathroom space evokes the ever-changing sparkling seascape of Setouchi.
The lines of light connect with the scenery of Setouchi, and the gradation of the tiles from Setouchi blue to white, with accent tiles in Setouchi lemon color, gives guests a view of the vast Setouchi and a sense of openness in harmony with nature and the ocean.

Based on the concept of "a one-of-a-kind resort where you can experience 'Setouchi' coexistence with nature," the hotel incorporates colors and concept design that capture the charm of the region throughout.
Despite the tight schedule, the team worked together to realize the customer's wishes as a partner. All project members hope that many people will be able to fully enjoy the beautiful view of the Seto Inland Sea and the charm of Chateraise's sweets.
