Work name: Neo Chinese Pattern (Taikoo Hui (Guangzhou) Exhibition Co., Ltd.)

Project Introduction
Facade concept design for the new innovation lounge at Taikoo Hui in Guangzhou, China.
The façade was created using transparent 3D ceramic prints, evoking new creativity while preserving the local climate and culture.
We are exploring the history of patterns, automatically generating patterns using a proprietary program, and exploring the possibilities of new tiles with a three-dimensional, transparent feel.
The dynamic patterns are generated using an algorithm that will generate a continuous concept design regardless of which scene is extracted or selected.
For fabrication, 3D ceramic printing was used to minimize the expansion and contraction that occurs during firing, a challenge for ceramics. The data was output directly and glaze was applied, achieving a richness of expression as an art product.
This is an attempt to expand the potential of ceramic 3D printing as a building material.
