On October 31, 2023, NOMURA Co.,Ltd. "Space concept design Studio" opened at KidZania Fukuoka.
NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director President and CEO Kiyotaka Okumoto NOMURA Co.,Ltd. hereinafter referred to as Nomura Co., Ltd.) and KCJ GROUP Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Michinari Tsuburaya; hereinafter referred to as KCJ GROUP) opened the "Space concept design Studio" pavilion, with Nomura Co., Ltd. as an official sponsor, at KidZania Fukuoka (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture), a children's vocational and social experience facility planned and operated by NOMURA Co.,Ltd. GROUP, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
In this pavilion, children will learn about space design as "space designers," and then concept design a dinosaur museum space using models of dinosaurs and other creatures. They will use 3D data on tablets to consider spatial effects such as the backgrounds, floors, and lighting for displays. Finally, they will give a presentation on the space they concept design, and then check the completed museum displays area with a walkthrough video that gives them an immersive experience of actually walking through the museum.
At today's opening ceremony, the uniforms for the "Spatial concept design Studio" were unveiled, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held.
Through their experiences in this pavilion, we hope that the children who will shape the future will discover the joy of "imagining" and "creating" displays area, thereby fostering an interest in creative work and developing the ability to open up various possibilities with new ideas and concepts.
