AboutH2LInc.
Established in July 2012. For the purpose of sharing experiences, we are conducting research and development and business development of BodySharing ® ︎, a new generation sensory sharing technology that follows audiovisual. The main products are the PossessedHand®, which was selected as one of TIME Magazine's "50 Inventions That Will Change the Future of 2011", UnlimitedHand®, which realizes input and output of computer gestures and proprioception, FirstVR ® for sensory input. H2L has strengths in technology that detects hand movements and proprioception from muscle bulges and in technology that conveys proprioception by applying multi-electrode electrical stimulation to the arm. By combining these technologies with avatar synthesis technology, remote control robots, etc., we will realize BodySharing ® ︎.
In 2020, we were selected as a "venture building a post-corona society" by the Japan Venture Capital Association.
H2L and NOMURA have jointly developed a metaverse office for sharing senses called "BodySharing® for Business" to solve the issue of dual work.

H2L Inc. (hereinafter referred to as H2L) and NOMURA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to NOMURA) have announced that they will develop a new technology called BodySharing® technology*.
We will officially launch "BodySharing® for Business," a metaverse office that aims to share perceptions and solve the issues of dual work, on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
The service's unique feature is that it uses BodySharing® technology to visualize "energy levels" and "relaxation levels" and reflect them in avatars, making it easier to communicate. In addition, after receiving feedback from companies who tried out the beta version (operating from October 2022), the service can now be used on a browser. The challenges of the environment (PC specifications, communication speed, etc.), which are often barriers to the introduction of the metaverse, have been overcome, making it possible to use the service immediately after registering an account.
NOMURA 's innovation laboratory, NOMLAB, is taking advantage of the high degree of freedom that is unique to the metaverse.
We planned and developed the Metaverse office space.

FirstVR**, a device equipped with the world's first muscle displacement sensor, is an original technology of H2L. By wearing it on the calf, the "energy level" and "relaxation level" are estimated from muscle displacement data. Both mental and physical sensations are automatically reflected in the avatar in the Metaverse Office. By sharing physical sensations with the avatar, it is expected to improve communication, self-medication, and business improvement.
*BodySharing® technology: A technology that allows a user to share various bodily senses and experiences with a character, robot, or human body. The bodily senses referred to here include not only sight and hearing, but also proprioception such as position sense, weight sense, and resistance sense.
**FirstVR: Equipped with an optical muscle displacement sensor (Optical Active Sensing) to detect muscle movements.
