Announcement of spatial DX service that supports well-being spaces and activation through emotion prediction
NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. aims to create sustainable well-being spaces in offices, public and commercial facilities, etc., where people can spend their time in physical and mental health and happiness. Nomura Co., Ltd. has announced a spatial DX service that uses "emograf*,"a software it planned and developed in-house, to analyze and utilize data on the well-being state of users by inferring their emotions, such as smiling.
This service is expected to increase satisfaction through spatial evaluation and improvement to stimulate communication, and create new value through content production and marketing that visualizes emotions.
<Features of EmoGraph and future prospects>
emografis a contactless system that uses a 360-degree camera to capture facial expressions without placing any physical strain on the user, and infers and visualizes emotions in real time. Data is collected in a complex manner, including identifying gender and age groups and capturing the facial expressions of multiple people simultaneously. It also incorporates people flow analysis, making it possible to understand the movement and behavior of people in an entire space from multiple angles, based on their emotions.
By utilizing data in spatial concept design, operation, and presentation, we propose spatial revitalization that enriches communication while being sensitive to users' emotions and encourages positive behavioral change. Based on the results of the demonstration experiment conducted in February, we will continue to develop further service concept design with the aim of providing them to facilities.
(As part of our R&D activities, a demonstration experiment of this service will be conducted at NOMURA Co.,Ltd. RESET SPACE_2 from February 6 to 17, 2023. The results of the experiment will be released in April.)
NOMURA Co.,Ltd. is researching spatial solutions that utilize technology through open innovation and giving back to society in order to continue providing Delight and Passion through space. We will continue to use technology and creativity to create comfortable spaces for everyone.
