We will hold a solo exhibition by Aju, an artist who draws landscapes of the heart, at our Osaka office.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Ltd. will be holding a solo exhibition at its Osaka office by artist Aju, who was awarded the NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Award at Art Stream 2017 (sponsored by the Art Stream Executive Committee), an event in which Nomura Co., Ltd. cooperated as part of its social and cultural activities.

This solo exhibition, Aju's first in three years, will feature around 60 works, both old and new. Among them are a four-meter panoramic landscape painting that Aju painted over two months based on her memories of the scenery she saw from our Osaka office, and the original illustrations for our Christmas cards, which are both valuable works that can only be seen at this exhibition.

[Artist Profile] Aju
Born in Osaka in 1989.
Graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University in 2014.
In 2016, he worked at the University of Tokyo's Center for Advanced Science and Technology for one year.
In 2017, he traveled the 53 stations of the Tokaido from Nihonbashi in Tokyo to Sakai in Osaka via Sanjo Ohashi Bridge in Kyoto in 58 days.
In 2018, he began working as an artist, painting 4m panoramic views of Osaka cityscapes from memory.
