NOMURA, Ltd. invests in Pixie Dust Technologies and enters into a capital and business alliance agreement

NOMURA Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director President and CEO: Shuji Enomoto; hereinafter referred to as "NOMURA") has invested in Pixie Dust Technologies Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoichi Ochiai and Taiichiro Murakami; hereinafter referred to as "PxDT"), a company working to solve social issues using academic technology, and has entered into a capital and business alliance agreement.

PxDT is a university-based venture that aims to be the driving force behind a new equilibrium point by viewing the world from the perspective of digital technology. We contribute to the realization of this goal by researching and developing interface technologies that connect the digital and physical worlds and continuously implementing them in society.

NOMURA, Ltd. aims to solve social issues in real places and spaces by utilizing the knowledge and network of "space and experience" that it has built up over 130 years since its founding. Meanwhile, PxDT aims to solve social issues with "digital technology" at its core by utilizing technology, including industry-academia collaboration, and implementing it in society.
