NOMURA Co.,Ltd. 's Social Good Activities: LOQUAT Villa SUGURO Case Study: Creating an auberge space that reflects the charm of the local area

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") aims to create a happy impact through its business activities in order to realize a sustainable society. Social Good Activities" is being promoted. As part of last year's efforts, "LOQUAT Nishiizu” (operated by Toi Tourism Revitalization Co., Ltd.) was involved in the planning and concept design of the project.
On July 1, 2022, the villa "LOQUAT Villa SUGURO," the highest-end flagship model of the "Town Resort Plan" aimed at further revitalizing the Toi area of Izu City, will have its grand opening.
Our company handled the planning, concept design, architecture, interiors design, supervision, signage, and FF&E construction.

LOQUAT Villa SUGURO is a five-minute drive from the main building of LOQUAT Nishiizu. The former Suguro residence, built during the Meiji period, has been converted into a villa that can be rented exclusively to one group per day. Making the most of the charm of the old house and the surrounding landscape, the space is designed to reflect the charm of the region down to the smallest details, such as the mud walls made from local soil and the dining table made from cherry wood that had been lying dormant in a local lumberyard.
