NOMURA Co., Ltd.'s powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki (Men's 49kg, Competed in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games) will compete in the World Cup Asia-Oceania Regional Championships to be held in South Korea from Tuesday, June 14th to Monday, June 20th, 2022 (local time). This tournament is a mandatory competition for participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Thank you for your continued support. After changing to the 49kg class, breaking through 140kg became a big obstacle, and I continue to challenge myself. I would like to achieve results in international competitions and take one step closer to qualifying for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
I would like to challenge the match with gratitude to the people who continue to support me despite the corona crisis and to the people involved in the tournament who are working hard to hold the international tournament.
