Announcement of “YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS FESTIVAL 2022”, the largest urban sports festival in Japan with “free admission”

YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS FESTIVAL 2022 (sponsored by YOKOHAMA URBAN SPORTS FESTIVAL 2022 Executive Committee), in which NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. is involved in planning and production, will be held on Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, 2022.

An urban sports entertainment event that combines the appeal of professional sports with the appeal of street culture will be launched at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in June 2022. Over two days, world-class athletes from six disciplines will gather, including skateboarding and BMX, new sports that became popular thanks to the success of Japanese athletes in the summer of 2021, and the newly emerging sports of breaking and parkour. Exhibitions for each discipline will be held, as well as national championships for each discipline. Other features include content for kids, a marketplace, workshops, and live music, making this a sports and street culture festival that can be enjoyed from a variety of perspectives.
