NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd. and the National Wood Industry Association hold online seminar to discuss spatial concept design nurtures forests and a sustainable future

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Co., Ltd. and the Japan Wood Association will host a free YouTube Live seminar entitled "Connecting to the Future with Creativity that Utilizes Wood" from 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. The seminar will explore the value and sustainable use of domestic timber, and consider the possibilities for concept design that utilizes both forests and people, including the self-sustaining economic activity of the forestry and timber industries and the preservation of forest environments, together with creators and forestry and timber industry operators in timber-producing regions.

NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Group launched the "Fair Wood Project" in 2010, which utilizes domestically produced and certified forest materials in its business activities, and has been working across the industry to create spaces that contribute to a sustainable society. This seminar is being held as part of the "Morimachi Door" project, which is being undertaken in collaboration with the National Federation of Wood Associations.
