"Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Folklore Museum" Receives Special Award (Nihon Keizai Shimbun Award) and Other Awards at "39th Display Industry Awards (2020)"

At the 39th Display Industry Awards (2020) (sponsored by the Japan Display Association, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Nikkei Inc.), the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Memorial Museum, for which NOMURA Group was responsible for creating the space, received the Display Industry Special Award (Nikkei Inc. Award). In addition, Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki-dori won the Excellence Award, and seven other works were awarded Encouragement Awards or selected.
This award is given not only to works that have excellent concept design, but also to works that have contributed to the overall improvement of lifestyle and culture and the promotion of the display industry. Emphasis is also placed on "contribution to regional revitalization and economic activity" such as solving regional issues and sustainability, "topicality" that can be expected to play a leading role in the development of industry, society, and culture and have a ripple effect, and "utilization of new technology." This is a valuable award that is also presented to partner companies as well as clients.
