NOMURA Group's COVID-19 Response Headquarters (established in January 2020 and headed by Representative Director CEO Shuji Enomoto) has been taking measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and business partners.

In order to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections, we will continue to thoroughly implement the following measures for employees.

Changes from the April 2nd edition are in bold.

【Implementation period】

 Due to the issuance of a state of emergency, offices in target prefectures and offices outside the target area will also be open until May 6 (continuance will be determined depending on the situation)

 

1. About working style

  "Working from home in principle"

  *In principle, employees who can work from home will work from home instead of coming to the office.

 

2. Meetings, business trips, gatherings, etc.

(1) Self-restraint of large-scale internal meetings

(2) Prohibition of domestic and international business trips in principle

(3) Banquets, holding large-scale meetings, etc., and refraining from participating

 

3. Code of conduct within the company

①Recommend hand washing, gargling, alcohol disinfection

② Use correct mask and follow cough etiquette

③Implementation of temperature measurement before going to work

④If you or your family members have symptoms of infection, do not come to work.

 

4. About our visitors

(1) Due to the declaration of a state of emergency, business offices in the target prefectures will suspend reception operations until May 6, and will respond by phone and email.

(2) Business sites outside the target area will continue to measure the temperature of all employees using non-contact thermometers. If you have a fever of 37.5℃ or higher, you will not be allowed to enter.

 

5. On-site work

(1) Confirmation of the presence or absence of unwell persons when entering the site of cooperating companies (implementation of corresponding measurement with a non-contact thermometer)

(2) Thorough communication of infectious disease countermeasures to on-site workers

 

 

We will continue to closely monitor information from various sources, respond swiftly in accordance with the stage of infection spread set by the government, and take appropriate measures with the highest priority on ensuring the health and safety of NOMURA Group employees and all those connected to our company.
