Powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki (NOMURA Ltd.) placed 8th at the 2019 Nur-Sultan World Championships

Tetsuo Nishizaki (powerlifter at the men's 54kg class, Rio de Janeiro 2016 Paralympic Games), affiliated with NOMURA Co., Ltd., competed in the men's 54kg class at the 2019 Nur-Sultan World Championships held on July 14, 2019 (Japan time).
In the end, I recorded 137kg and placed 8th (1st among Japanese athletes).

Thank you for your support this time.
Although I was not able to beat my personal best, I managed to record 137kg, my best result at an international competition held overseas. I will use my 8th place finish at this tournament, which will be my pathway to the Tokyo 2020 Games, as a stepping stone and train to the fullest in preparation for the competition in September.
