NOMURA Co.,Ltd. Group has been working on the Fair Wood Project since 2008, which aims to utilize domestically produced and certified forest materials in its business activities (the current parent organization is the CSV Council).

In 2018, the 10th anniversary of our activities, we believe that it is necessary to continue activities that involve not only our company but also the entire industry in order to further accelerate the spread of the use of timber whose origin is known in the display industry based on the social background. , We are doing "Efforts to connect forests and creators".

Originally from Aichi Prefecture, he graduated from the Tokyo Institute of Technology Graduate School. He joined NOMURA Co.,Ltd., Ltd. in 2004. In 2008, he was responsible for launching the Environmental Solutions Committee, and has since served as Secretary General of the company's CSV activity organization. Since 2017, he has also served as project leader for the Fairwood Project and the JAPAN VALUE Project.
