Powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki (NOMURA Ltd.) placed 6th at the Kitakyushu 2018 World Para Powerlifting Asia-Oceania Open Championships.

NOMURA Co., Ltd. powerlifter Tetsuo Nishizaki (men's 54kg class, competed in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games) competed in the 54kg class at the Kitakyushu 2018 World Para Powerlifting Asia-Oceania Open Championships held on September 8, 2018, and placed 6th (1st place among Japanese lifters) with a lift of 132kg.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us.

Thank you for your support. I have practiced with a focus on improving my technique for this tournament, and I feel that I was able to overcome my issues. In the future, I would like to increase my strength and aim higher.
