The book "Space concept design for Children and Adults" by NOMURA, Ltd. TeamM won the 12th Kids concept design Award.

The book "Space concept design for Children and Adults", co-authored by Associate Professor Ayako Naka of the Faculty of Life concept design, Toyo University, and TeamM of NOMURA, Ltd., which works to create an environment where children and adults can spend together, is the first. Received the 12th Kids concept design Award (sponsored by Kids concept design Association, sponsored by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Consumer Affairs Agency). The Grand Prize, Excellence Prize, Encouragement Prize, and Special Prize will be announced on Tuesday, September 25th.

 

In this book, we interviewed facility designers and operators and introduced many good practices in order to explore common concept design ideas for "comfortable spaces for both children and adults."

It is a book that considers future space creation, proposing a new space that is comfortable for both children and adults.

The Kids concept design Award is awarded to products, spaces, services, activities, and research projects that meet the objectives of ``safely living for children'', ``enhancing sensitivity and creativity in children'', and ``creating a society where it is easy to have and raise children''. It was established with the aim of selecting excellent works from the collection and disseminating them widely to society.
